MULTIROOM
Multiroom is a system that includes equipment for receiving, transmitting, and reproducing sound and video signals and utilities for their distribution to various rooms in a smarthome and beyond. The main idea of such a system is to eliminate the need to purchase duplicate equipment and place it in every room of the house. One set of equipment can be placed in any auxiliary room. In living rooms, “in plain sight” there will be no functional equipment, receivers, decoders, amplifiers, mounting boxes, and wire bundles. All engineering communications are hidden in the walls.
The second undoubted advantage of the multi-room system is the ability to control numerous multimedia parameters using a touch panel or push-button remote control. In this case, the equipment must be selected so that the control devices from one room are suitable for controlling playback equipment in another room. That is, a single standard for system management throughout the house would be implemented.
